Cementing Head
 
1. Application
A special tool for injecting cement slurry and releasing rubber plugs. It is a device installed on the top of the casing during cementing. One or two rubber plugs can be installed at the same time. The double-plug cement head can be used for conventional double-plug cementing and continuous two-stage cementing operations.
When multiple cement trucks work together, rubber plugs for cementing are placed in the cement head in advance, including upper rubber plugs and lower rubber plugs. Put the lower rubber plug in before injecting cement slurry. After the predetermined amount of cement slurry is injected, put the upper rubber plug in, and then replace the mud or water to make the upper rubber plug go down. The lower rubber plug is blocked by the support ring, and the partition in the center hole is broken until all the cement slurry is squeezed out of the casing. When the upper and lower rubber plugs collide, the liquid channel is blocked, the pump pressure suddenly increases, and the cementing operation is completed. After the cementing is completed, close the gate leading to the outside of the cement head and remove the connecting pipeline. Wait for 12 hours, and then test the pressure by logging after detecting the return height and waiting for 48 hours to check the cementing quality.

3. Features
1. Equipped with quick-release joint, it is convenient to connect on site, and can be connected with API long round buckle/short round buckle/trapezoidal buckle, with a wide range of applications.
2. The double balance pipe structure makes the pressure at the upper and lower ends of the rubber plug the same when using the lower interface for cementing operations, eliminating the impact of negative pressure suction on the stop pin, and opening the stop pin is easy.
3. The double indicator structure accurately displays the passage of the rubber plug, which is convenient for operators to judge.
4. The main body is made of thick-walled seamless pipe, which is resistant to high pressure and has a long service life.
5. The top cover and union nut adopt large pitch trapezoidal threads, which are easy to disassemble and assemble.
